Affordable 4K monitoring solutions for broadcast and production


Introducing two new models to JVC’s DT-U Series of 4K production monitors - the 17" DT-U17 and the 24" DT-U24 monitor. These new models meet the growing demand for affordable 4K monitoring solutions in production and broadcast environments. The models feature 8-bit (DT-U17) and 10-bit (DT-U24) panel displays with 4K UHD native resolution and are ideal for critical video applications in the studio and on location.

The new DT-U monitors have 14-bit image processing to ensure high quality image processing and display, with HLG-HDR and PQ-HDR capability. They are 4K panels with multiple 4K interfaces, supporting 12G/6G/3G-SDI input, 4x 3G-SDI quad link input (both quad and 2SI), 4K60p HDMI 2.0 input, and additional 4K SFP display via optional plug-in SFP adaptor. A zero latency image processing mode offers minimal delay, ideal for lip sync monitoring, whilst a multi-view mode enables four images to be reproduced on the screen simultaneously, from one 4K and three HD inputs. The monitors feature 3D LUT precise auto calibration, with built-in colour generator and calibration software. They are also able to be remote controlled via IP, allowing studio administrators to control all the monitors, read monitor status or set the menu.
